League Champions Rules
LEAGUE CHAMPIONS ARE SUBJECT TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS, A COPY OF WHICH IS AVAILABLE BY CLICKING HERE, AND TO THE RULES BELOW. NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED. ODDS OF WINNING DEPEND, IN PART, ON THE NUMBER OF ENTRANTS.

How can I join the contests?
To play in the League Champions, register to obtain a Covers/Wagerline username and password. Registration consists of selecting a username and filling in the following information: email address, password, first name, last name, street, city, state/province, zip/postal code. To win a prize you must be at least 18 years old, and you must provide a name, email address and physical address on your registration form so we can contact you if you win. If you win a contest prize, it is very important you have accurate email and physical mailing address information on your account or you will not receive a prize.
How and when should I make my contest picks?
Once registered, you can make your picks anytime during the week up until games start. You can select as many or as few games as you wish. Each wager can vary in units from 100 to 500. Once a wager is made on a particular side or total, you cannot wager that side or total again. The single wager limitation is to prevent unlimited picks from being made on a single game. Wagerline units are not real money. You are not required to pay any money to participate in this contest. Units are just a way to grade the handicapping performance of all contestants.

Prizes are awarded to the contestants with the most net units. The prizes awarded vary from contest to contest.

Sports Direct Inc will make every effort to run the contest in a fair and efficient manner. However, certain events are beyond our control. For example, if Internet hardware or software problems cause us to lose entries, we are not liable. We reserve the right to void an entire week of the contest if we determine it is necessary in our sole discretion.

Weekly prizes for the CFL, WNBA and Arena Full Season Contests are awarded during the regular season only.

To be eligible to receive prizes from any and all contests or promotions offered by Sports Direct Inc., entrants must be legal residents of the United States or Canada, 18 years of age or older (if the age of majority in a jurisdiction is different than 18, you must be the age of majority within your jurisdiction to be eligible to receive a prize) with a valid internet e-mail address. Employees of Sponsor, its parents, affiliates and subsidiaries, participating advertising and promotion agencies and prize suppliers (and members of their immediate family and/or those living in the same of household of each such employee) are not eligible. Any and all contests and promotions offered by Sports Direct Inc. are void in all United States’ territories (e.g. Guam and Puerto Rico), and the Province of Quebec, and where prohibited by law. If a Canadian resident is deemed eligible to win a prize, in order to be awarded such prize, the Canadian resident will be required to correctly answer a time limited mathematical skill question. Eligibility, age, and all claims made by winners are subject to verification. Merchandise prizes for US-resident winners will be shipped to your home address only (no P.O. Boxes). Due to Revenue Canada Duty being applied to items being shipped into Canada, and to avoid the prizewinner having to pay duty, no merchandise prizes will be shipped across international borders. Canadian winners of merchandise prizes will be contacted and suitable arrangements made to ensure they receive a similar prize. Winners located in Canada will not be eligible to receive jackets or baseball caps as prizes, however are eligible for all other merchandise. Cash prizes will be sent anywhere in North America.

For any league contest overall standings, members who are tied with equal units - the tie breaker rules are (1) winning percentage (2) Total number of picks (3) member who made the first pick within the contest (time stamp).
For weekly contest standings, when members are tied - the tie breaker system is as follows: (1) most wins for the week (2) member who got their first pick of the week in the earliest (time stamp).

Over/Under Wagers are Voided for MLB games that do not complete 9 innings played (or 8.5 if the home team is winning).

The outcome on all MLB picks must be decided on original game date. Therefore selections on any MLB games which have been Suspended, are Voided.
What are the Wagerline.com "House Rules"?
Lines are posted on the main scores and odds page, and you can make picks up until the time a game starts. Wagerline has several contests, and you should consult the specific rules for each contest for more information. Some general things to note about our odds and contests: You can pick one team and one total per game. Once a pick is selected and submitted, it is final and cannot be changed.
You can vary the amount of your wager on the line or total between 100 and 500 units. Wagerline units are not real money; they are just a way to grade the handicapping performance of all contestants.
For basketball and football games (sides and totals), the standard odds are to risk 110 units to win 100 units.
For MLB and NHL games, Wagerline uses the moneyline. In other words, you pick the winner of the game using the odds posted. For instance, if you pick a team to win with -140 odds, you are risking 140 units to win 100. If you pick a team to win with +140 odds, you are risking 100 units to win 140.
The odds on totals are the same as side wagers, risk 110 units to win 100. Some NHL and MLB games also which have an "o" or "u" at the end of the number shown. The "o" or "u" suffix means either the over or under is "favored" in the game. In those cases, you wager 130 to win 100 on the favored total, or 100 to win 110 on dog total.
You are limited to one user name when playing League Champions. If a person is entering picks using more than one user name, that person is deemed not eligible to win any prizes.
- The user who signs up the user name is the only person eligible to win a prize, even if other persons log-in under the user name and make picks.
Miscellaneous Provisions:
If there is a dispute as to the identity of an online entrant, the prize will be awarded to the authorized account holder of the email address. The “authorized account holder” is defined as the natural person to whom the email address is assigned by an internet service provider, online service provider or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address.
No transfer, assignment or substitution of a prize, except Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prize for an item of equal or greater value in the event an advertised prize is unavailable. All federal, state, provincial and local laws and regulations apply. Entrants agree to be bound by the terms of these Official Rules and by the decisions of Sponsor, which are final and binding on all matters pertaining to this Sweepstakes. Return of any prize/prize notification as undeliverable may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. Acceptance of the prize constitutes permission for Sponsor and its agencies to use winner’s name and/or likeness for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law. By accepting prize, winner agrees to hold Sponsor, its respective directors, officers, employees and assigns harmless for any injury or damage caused or claimed to be caused by participation in the Sweepstakes. Sponsor is not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the offer, administration of the Sweepstakes or in the announcement of the prize.
Sponsor is not responsible for electronic transmission errors resulting in omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or for technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, computer, hardware or software malfunctions or limitations of any kind, or inaccurate transmissions of or failure to receive entry information by Sponsor or presenter on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Web site or any combination thereof. If for any reason the Internet portion of the program is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Contest, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest. Sponsor reserves the right, but not the obligation, to select winners from eligible entries received as of the termination date. Sponsors furthers reserve the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process. Caution: Any attempt by a contestant to deliberately damage any Web site or undermine the legitimate operation of the game is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such contestant to the fullest extent of the law.

How to Claim Prizes

When you win a prize, an automatic email will be sent to you the next day asking for address verification. You must respond to this email within 5 days to claim your prize. If you ignore the email, no prize will be sent. After you respond, the prize will be sent via UPS ground.

If you provide us with any incorrect information, you forfeit any prize. If you do not receive the prize notification via email, it is nearly always due to one of two reasons - either you did not enter your mailing address when you registered on Wagerline, or the email address you used when registering has been changed. Prizes cannot be sent to players who did not supply us with a mailing address, and we make no attempt to track down players with invalid email addresses. You are responsible to check your account information and make sure it is correct.

Prizes listed are subject to availability. We reserve the right to substitute a prize of equivalent value if necessary. All contestants are limited to 1 prize per week, and 3 prizes per year. The prize limits do not include prizes won in the Survivor Game that has separate rules.
- You must verify that you are at least 18 years old to be eligible for any prize.
- All winners of prizes valued at $600 or more must sign and return a Declaration of Eligibility and a Liability/Publicity Release within 10 days of first attempted notification. Non-compliance within this time period will result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.
